What type of visa do I need?
The following provides information about entry visas into the United States, for those wishing to travel temporarily for various reasons.
- The Visa Waiver Program permits citizens of Spain, Andorra, and certain other countries to visit the United States for the purpose of business (B-1) and tourism (B-2) without needing to obtain a visa. This exemption also includes citizens of countries that have an understanding with the United States Government. - To apply for a temporary work visa (H), (L), (O,P) and (Q) once the request has been approved by the Immigration Service (USCIS)
- Additional information about traveling without a visa in the case of citizens from Bermuda, Canada, or Mexico.
- The return of your passport with the visa will be made by courier (MRW) payable on arrival. An envelope for the shipment of your passport will be made available at the Consular Section.
