MESSAGE TO U.S. CITIZENS
Consulate of the United States of America
Barcelona, Spain
December 12, 2007
CALL FOR CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE 2008 PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS
This is a reminder that there are only 328 days until the November 4, 2008
General Election. Voter participation is crucial to any election!
In our quest to better serve the U.S. voting public residing here and to
continue better lines of communication with our fellow Americans, we would like
to solicit the names and contact information (including web page address) of
American-citizen organizations throughout Spain . This information would be used
for two purposes: to ensure wider distribution of our regular voting information
updates and materials as well as to apprise you when embassy officers are in
your area. If you are planning any gatherings or events directed to the American
community where you reside or in Spain , and you believe the participation of an
American officer would be beneficial to the purpose of your gathering, please
let us know at the numbers below and we will make every effort to attend.
As always, if you need any information on voting, please contact us at the
regular number for the Consulate or email us at
votebarcelona@state.gov. You
may also contact the Embassy in Madrid at votemadrid@state.gov.
